Music on Hold Requirements

The uploaded wave (.WAV) file must be in the following format:
  • CCITT u-Law format

    8.000 kHz

    8 bit Mono

    At least 10 seconds in length to loop–if not, it will play once then play dead air

     Cannot be longer than 5 minutes or the upload will fail.

    Music On Hold files can be created using Windows Recorder included in XP (not included in WIN7 Premium). Select the correct attributes when saving the file.

 

Fax to Email Instructions

 

Arriving faxes will be forwarded as a PDF from message@corefax.net to the email address you provided:

To send faxes, send an email to:  1+fax  number@corefaxsend.net.  The cover page will be populated with the body of the email.  Any supported attachment will be forwarded as additional pages of the fax.  Be sure to always include a 1 before the phone number when sending a fax.  The fax must be sent from the email address that is enabled for outbound faxing.

Example:

To send a fax to 972-555-2500, send an email to 19725552500@corefaxsend.net(Always include a 1, or the fax will fail.)

When a fax is transmitted, you will receive an email from notify@corefax.net confirming that your fax was received by the server.  You will receive a second confirmation email once the fax has been successfully transmitted to the receiving party.

The following Attachment File Types are supported for outbound faxing:

  • Microsoft Word (*.doc, *.docx)
  • Microsoft Excel (*.xls, *.xlsx)
  • Microsoft PowerPoint (*.ppt, *.pptx)
  • Microsoft Visio (*.vsd)
  • HyperText Markup Language (*.html, *.mhtml)
